CENTRALISED DELAY MONITORING MODULE

For monitoring the delay in remittance of CBEC revenue from the date of remittance to the date of credit of the same into the Government Accounts at Reserve Bank of India, CAS, Nagpur, a software package "BRONET" has been in use from 1.4.96 and working satisfactorily. The software needed modifications due to changes incorporated in the REVACT software including change of platform due to bifurcation of the Central Excise Commissionerates, introduction of PAN based Assessee Codes and the proposed multi banking system. Accordingly, the "BRONET" also been upgraded to windows environment and the revised software named Centralised Delay Monitoring Module (CDMM) has been developed by NIC incorporating additional features to suit the Management Information System. The software is capable of accepting various parameters and can generate reports accordingly of any given Accounting month at any point of time. The output information from REVACT(VB) received from the Central Excise PAOs becomes the input for CDMM.
