The CONTACT
is a software package for the consolidation of monthly accounts
(received from the field PAOs) in the Principal Accounts Offices.
This MSDOS based package has been developed in Clipper application
software by the NIC for the Principal Accounts Offices of the Controller
General of Accounts. This package is running successfully since
its installation in the year 1986-87. The manual consolidation of
monthly accounts received from the PAOs in the Principal Accounts
office has already been discontinued.
CONTACT (ORA)
is the new version designed in Windows environment incorporating
Accounts module, Budget module, Bank Reconciliation module and reports
covering all the modules. This package is aimed at reducing any
inconsistency in data by linking the main accounts with the subsidiary
accounts. The system has been implemented and the monthly and annual
reports are being generated and sent to the Office of the CGA as
per the directives.
